Mozaik organized another exhibition shedding light on the history of design. The exhibition titled ‘Please have a seat’ featuring 100 iconic chairs that left a mark in the history of design at the Ortak\u00f6y Surp Krikor Lusarovi\u00e7 Armenian Catholic Church was exhibited at the Mozaik Ortak\u00f6y showroom between September 25 and November 9.<\/h3>\n

Designed for function and form, these works of art serve as a window into how they have influenced life and culture from the 1900s to the present day. The chronological selection of these extraordinary chairs aims to highlight the design aesthetic and its genesis. Art lovers will be able to see these iconic chairs, which are exhibited in Moma’s permanent collection and many other museums, for 2 weeks in parallel with the Istanbul Design Biennial. Within the scope of the exhibition; a booklet designed by Ula\u015f Eryavuz was also published.<\/p>\n

From the Eames Lounge chair, produced by Charles & Ray Eames for the director Billy Wider to relax, to Marcel Breuer, who was influenced by the bicycle handlebar and fascinated Wassily Kandinsky with his chair, to Hans J. Wegner’s Wishbone chair, which was produced through more than a hundred stages despite its plain appearance. , Le Corbusier’s LC4 chaiselounge, known as the \u201ccomfort machine\u201d, the Barcelona armchair specially designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the king and queen of Spain, and the exhibition with many other well-known designers, Mozaik, all design enthusiasts, art lovers and brought together the designers of the future.[\/vc_column_text]\t\t
