Indeed, the Grasshopper is named after the animal with six sensitive instruments for its legs. There are four of them here, equally tall and incredible but still perfectly functional. Above them sits a hill so thin that it looks like it could go up and blow up. It is such a weightless and compact object that it works perfectly with all the chairs in the Knoll range.
