Duo was designed by Andr\u00e9 Ricard for “executive desks”. It is composed of two symmetrical and contrasting elements, yin and yang, which complement each other with a perfect sense of proportion. A prominent push button on the narrow centered body acts as a switch for both. Manufactured in the 1970s and discontinued in the 1980s due to the onslaught of new halogen lamps that tried to emulate the worldwide success of Richard Sapper’s Tizio.
