The Gogan collection takes its name from nature, and in particular from the Japanese stones smoothed by time and water that inspired this project. This is the name given to the Japanese stones placed to protect and decorate the banks of rivers and lakes. The form of the chair, as well as the form of the seat, is reminiscent of flat stones sculpted by wind and water, solid but smooth enough to lie on. <\/h4>\n

Just as in rock sculptures, where the stones are carefully positioned and interlocked to maintain their balance, in the Gogan sofa and armchair it is the shape without excessive regularity that maintains the balance between the elements.<\/h4>\n

The seats are soft and uneven and the center of gravity is slightly tilted backwards. This provides exceptional comfort and allows the backrest to be kept lower. The backrest and the seat are combined with the rests, which give the sofa a feeling of lightness and make it look as if it is suspended above the floor. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
