The result is rarely four legs; not because I don&#8217;t want to make chairs, but because working with new materials like wire mesh and polyester requires new forms.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The Heart Shaped Tapered Chair embodies the transformation that took place in Scandinavian design in the late fifties. The pure furniture of classical modernism is now joined by sculptural forms inspired by new technologies.
