Bolla is a hand-blown glass candle holder designed as a subtle colored light accent.
It is composed of two elements: the cylindrical base that holds the candle precisely and the large circular volume that enriches the object with personality and visibility.
The combination of candlelight and Murano glass emits a bright and delicate light, skillfully enhanced by the large “bolla” (bubble) that frames and protects the flame. The elements are separated to light the candle easily. Refined nuances include smoky gray, Prussian blue and vinaccia (grape stone).
“The Bolla project was conceived during a conversation at Driade, when we were asked to think about a candle theme for a new product to be added to the Arte degli Oggetti (Art of Things) collection. The eclectic characteristics of this collection allowed us to work without too many limitations or stylistic influences. The object we have created is in perfect harmony with our favorite projects.
