Eero Saarinen
Born to the world-famous Eliel Saarinen, director of Cranbrook Academy, and textile artist Loja Saarinen, Eero Saarinen has been involved with design throughout his life. A classmate and close friend of Florence Schust, Saarinen was invited by Schust to design for the Knoll brand in the 40s. Eero Saarinen’s positive influence on the Knoll brand and his discipline in furniture design is undeniable.
