One of Cassina’s bestsellers worldwide, the 4, Chaise Longue à reglage continu is the perfect chaise longue, designed in 1928 and based on in-depth research of recliners.
Focusing on the human figure, the three designers conceived the continuation 4, Chaise lounge à reglage as an expression of the concept of relaxation, the connection between form and function reflected in the balance between geometric purity and ergonomic purpose. Whatever the angle of inclination, the stability of the bed is ensured by the rubber tubes covering the cross bars of the underlying frame. As with the other models, the 4, Chaise longue à reglage is based on continuous, Modulor-derived measurements. Today this model is proposed again in a “full black” version with black base, frame and upholstery.
