Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance designed this project for Ceccotti Collezioni in 2008. A bed that has become a design icon and synonymous with harmonious beauty.
Designed entirely in wood with a veneered plywood base and frame in solid American walnut. The headboard is its most distinctive feature; a series of parallel horizontal lines starting from the floor, enclosed in a wooden frame. The embodiment of style and lightness of touch, it shows how a product synonymous with aesthetics and durability can also be infused with a strong design culture. In the high-cap version, the horizontal cross-pieces are curved towards the back to soften the frame. The more compact low version has been redesigned with a leather or real leather padded headboard for a more modern look. As the name suggests, Buonanotte Valentina – Good Night Valentina – is an invitation to relax.
