Dambo is the third seating system designed by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia. It is a modular system of irregular pentagons and rectangular modules, combining more complex geometric shapes with linear elements and suitable for multiple compositions and environments.
With their large dimensions and great flexibility, pentagonal base elements can be used as peninsulas or as independent monoliths when combined with other elements. They are comfortable volumes to place in the middle of a room, create corner solutions or personalized compositions. The high, enveloping ridges are a hymn to the organic forms of the botanical world. The armrests resemble leaves thanks to a front movement that allows them to be lowered and adjusted as desired. There are five key elements characterized by a comfortable softness and plush ergonomics. Different geometries are in harmony with each other.
The entire range features a cold-foamed construction system with state-of-the-art upholstery. Backrest and armrests are connected to the base structure with bayonet connection system. With its discrete and basic design, the small legs have an elegant oval section. What emerges is lightness but at the same time versatility, in line with the contemporary lifestyle, which increasingly makes it imperative to combine living spaces and home office corners. Dambo thus appeals to a wide audience, loyal to the B&B Italia tradition, but with an eye for the art of modern living.
