Designed in 1970 by André Ricard. Its name is a reference to the artist Lucio Fontana, who challenged art history by cutting his neat oil paintings. Santa Cole presents Fontana in a new floor version with a white painted steel finish. The pendant version, the first, retains its futuristic look thanks to the good size of its larger-than-half sphere and its prominent peripherally illuminating slit that allows for soft indirect lighting. Its original design is extended by offering a floor-standing Fontana consisting of a hidden circular base that supports structure and shade. Its versatility makes it perfect to accompany you in the peace and quiet of your home, in the rush of work or during a deep conversation in a restaurant.
