In 1973, Claudio Salocchi designed the Free System: a system of cushioned furniture derived from the concept of “control flooring” or tatami, where padded units can be freely placed side by side. With its fully modular and sectional elements and from the perspective of optimal use of space, the Free System sofa is the embodiment of modern home utopia.
Free System, a padded furniture program that goes beyond the sofa model, offers a series of elements (tatami, hassock and seat with different and interchangeable backrests) that form a modular system that can be arranged in various combinations.
