He was inspired by nature, especially the weed, called “heracleum” in Latin. The clear and precise construction is made possible by Marcel Wanders “electrosandwich” technology, which allows the electrical conductor to be integrated directly into the structure and requires no wiring. The intricate, branched metallic structure looks like a naturally growing plant and the small, flat polycarbonate diffusers are reminiscent of delicate flowers. In addition to its decorative and highly iconic design, Heracleum stands out for its warm white dimmable light, suitable for illuminating seating corners or dining tables, for room lighting or as a soft lighting accent.
