Knot, a collection of majestic pendant lights, contrasts two different materials, two different concepts: the simplicity of rough rope versus the soft curves of hand-blown transparent glass, the resulting design is at once striking, outspoken and dignified. The full-bodied spheres of various shapes and sizes are pierced with a sturdy string that terminates in a knot – a key design element of the collection – and apparently pulls the bottom of the glass inwards to create a surprising plastic effect.
