Antoni de Moragas Gallissà designed the Moragas lamp for his office at the age of forty-four. He used this lamp on his desk and used it to place his notes and business cards between the folds of ribbon.
A sturdy wooden cylinder supports a head containing three bulbs, surrounded by a circular shade and arranged outwards. The lampshade is made of cotton ribbon and has a thread running along the edge, creating an asymmetry. It creates a spectacular contrast of light and shadow.
