Octave is produced by skillfully cutting, bending and welding a stainless steel plate. The simple design is further emphasized by the polished stainless steel surface.
The design concept comes from Abi Alice and reflects her interest in math and geometry. With Octave, the designer explores the artistic potential offered by the harmonious and balanced proportions of the ellipse. The name takes its inspiration from the world of music, where Octave describes the interval from one tone to the next.
