Pense ad Acapulco (Thinking of Acapulco) is a tribute to the iconic Acapulco Chair of the 50s.
Starting from sheet metal, shaped entirely by hand, it gives shape to a new understanding of what a chair is once folded. Three iron legs support the chair, which is composed of three sections made of polished copper, steel or brass, with light refracted on each surface. The product of De Castelli’s ingenuity, expertise and craftsmanship, this chair forces durable metal to welcome, even transforming iron into the most flexible of materials.
