Jaume Sans is a famous Catalan surrealist sculptor and painter. He is also a member of the art association ADLAN, whose members include Picasso, Dalí, Miró and Calder, and who were acquaintances of the architects of GATCPAC, with whom they shared their social space on the Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona before the Spanish Civil War. Sans focused on designing furniture for his own home, resulting in the remarkable Pie de Salón lamp. It was then arranged by Santa Cole. It is a stylish reinterpretation of traditional symmetrical lamps. The lamp’s stem is adjustable and covered in leather for a luxurious feel. A tripod opens to its base, allowing the cable to pass through easily. It is a perfect example of industrial craftsmanship. Available in three different materials, three different shades and eight different diffuser colors that exude timeless elegance.
