The recovery of simple materials and basic shapes, with architecture and mountain life in mind, led to the creation of two historic design low table stools, inspired respectively by the milking stool used by mountain shepherds in the author’s beloved French town.
Two low tables, placed separately or in lively arrangements, bring the pleasant lightness of solid wood into indoor environments, accentuated by the continuity of grain between top and sides and the myriad natural variations of the wood.
