From a small island to the world, from Murano glass to the industrial production of unconventional materials, Foscarini is the story of a brand that within a few years has become one of the key players in the lighting design industry. Just two years after its establishment, the company opened up to new markets with Foscarini’s first designer lamp collection designed by Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato, who took over the management and owned the company in 1988. Designs are made independent of any production restrictions that turn into the freedom of ideas.
