Eileen Gray
Born into an aristocratic Irish-Scottish family, Eileen Gray studied architecture and design in London and Paris. He first made a name for himself as a leading designer of lacquered walls and decorative panels. His theories on design and architecture have left an indelible mark on our ideas about life. Today she is still considered one of the icons of Modernism and is the only woman whose name is mentioned alongside Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer.
