76 is made from a set of techniques developed from hundreds of experiments. Inside each glass, ghostly tendrils of colored glass float towards the surrounding transparent glass bubble. The copper mesh used inside the 76% can be affected by heat and oxidation during the glass blowing process. These small oxidized edges can sometimes separate inside the glass. This is a natural property of the metal and is seen as an evolution of the part as it ages.
Each Bocci product is handmade. It is blown, directly poured, carved, polished, packaged and shipped. No two products are therefore identical.
