Crevasse Vase

Crevasse is a sculptural vase designed by architect Zaha Hadid.

The characteristic shape of the vase comes from the combination of the rotation and inversion of a trapezoid shape. The sharp contours of the stainless steel Crevasse vase protrude into the room, like the sharp edge of an Arctic rift, which also seems to cut through it.

The name Crevasse is a reference to the inspiration of designer Zaha Hadid:
