Eames DAW Chair

Charles and Ray Eames designed the DAW chair in 1950 as part of their plastic chair collection. The Eames plastic chairs, manufactured by Vitra, were the first mass-produced plastic chairs in the history of furniture and are available today in a variety of seats and frames, both multifunctional and multipurpose. In close collaboration with the Eames Office, Vitra has developed and launched a color update in 2019 that allows Eames Plastic Chairs to shine in a new world of colors and combinations.
