Yamagiwa

Founded in 1923, YAMAGIWA is Japan’s leading lighting manufacturer. With Japanese precision and innovative design, YAMAGIWA exhibits beautiful living spaces under the slogan “The Art of Lighting” in collaboration with international designers and architects. In 1955, Frank Lloyd Wright began licensing his works, creating original designs for the Taliesin Ensemble. Certified by the Foundation as a manufacturer and series producer of Wright’s lighting fixtures. YAMAGIWA has been manufacturing in Japan and exporting worldwide for 30 years since it was approved by the Foundation. The logo expresses the idea of light emanating from a central source. The curved border represents both a single flower and the splendor of the cosmos. The logo emerged as a symbol that lighting is not only necessary for daily life, but that we also need to reach out to the universe.
