Gatto Table Lamp is a game of shapes. The top is a sphere that tapers to form a cylindrical center. It then expands into a smaller sphere with a flat base that fixes the lamp on a surface. The frame of the lamp is made of stainless steel wire. It is finished with a powder coating and coated with resin, which has a mesh-like appearance. The resin is sprayed onto the metallic frame. It dries like a fine fabric and adheres tightly to the frame to reveal the distinctive shape of the lamp. Light is transmitted through a diffuser built into the frame and coated with a resin coating.
