Grande Papilio is a single armchair designed by Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia. The inner frame is made of tubular steel and the upholstery is made of Bayfit® (Bayer®) flexible, cold-formed polyurethane foam. The outer cover can be fabric or leather.
Grande Papilio is a single volume, a single form of a single material with a strong personality. The shape of the backrest and hence the name of this elegant armchair is inspired by butterflies. Its design visually suggests a warm embrace and offers superior comfort. The seat is equipped with a swivel system that allows deep contact with the surrounding environment. A zipper on the back allows you to remove the cover.
