Standing in the middle between design and art and designed to be presented to a wide audience, this innovative solution is due to B&B Italia’s extensive technological know-how in the field of polyurethane injection molding. Particularly notable among the seats is the iconic UP5_6, with its impeccable anthropomorphic references: the metaphor of a large womb brings to mind ancient statues of fertility goddesses. But that’s not all: a spherical pouf attached to the seat contrasts the image of comfort and coziness with the more figurative image of a woman with a ball and chain tied to her foot.
