The Kata lounge chair is an Arper armchair signed by team designers Altherr Désile Park. With a structure made of oak or Robinia wood.
The design of the Kata collection is elegant and lightweight, with a wink to sustainability. The FSC-certified solid wood chair inextricably combines innovative technology and aims to bring a new dimension to furniture. The upholstery is made from post-consumer polyester yarns that are converted into lightweight and durable fibers, minimizing material waste.
Kata is also created using a strong and durable polyester fiber made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, and because the recycling process transforms the fiber at the molecular level, there is no difference between recycled polyester and virgin polyester; it looks and feels the same. Like wool, but with excellent elasticity and resistance to stains, water, light and atmospheric agents.
