The iconic Knotted Chair is a magnificent adult interpretation of the tiny chairs used to decorate a doll’s house, a visionary creation by designer Marcel Wanders. By eliminating the distinction between craftsmanship and industrial production, Wanders has transformed this chair into a work of art to be treasured at home and integrated into our daily lives. The macrame technique that inspired the design of the Knotted Chair has been revisited in a surprising construction made of carbon covered with aramid fiber cord and then coated with epoxy resin.
