Poul Henningsen has designed hundreds of lamps based on the triple shade system he developed in 1926, providing a unique quality of illumination to suit any need. Most of his lamp designs include a number that refers to the shade dimensions of each luminaire. PH 5/5 is described as a ‘whole’ sized pendant, characterized by its attractive compact appearance, where the top shade of approximately 50 cm corresponds to the middle and bottom shade in 3:2:1 ratios. PH’s ‘whole’ size luminaires are specifically designed to be glare-free. It is therefore ideal for placing high up in a room where it integrates great quality lighting with a cozy ambience.
