FontanaArte’s Pinecone is mesmerizing lighting made of glass and metal. Already collaborating with the most important brands in the world of design, renowned Italian designer Paola Navone has been incorporating his design and unique lighting fixtures into the FontanaArte portfolio since 2016.
Looking luxurious and stylish, Pinecone adapts to interiors, either as table lighting or as decorative ambient light on sideboards or coffee tables.
The regular pattern of the metallic grille and the curves of the glass diffuser create diamond-shaped surfaces reminiscent of pine cones. At the same time, the shape, especially in the white version, is reminiscent of an old-fashioned hot air balloon, creating a charming retro touch. The Pinecone production process is as complex as it is impressive. As the glass canopy is blown directly into a metal basket, the glass regularly swells through the mesh. The metallic mesh is nickel-plated, the glass is optionally available in transparent or milky white. The clear glass provides a bright light and has a noble and precious look, while the diffused glowing white version sharply emphasizes the mesh pattern and has a cozy retro charm.
