Materiality
The Tama Desk desk program consists of three levels: Pedestal, tabletop and shelf. The base and shelf are always the same size and shape and have the same mounting option. The surfaces of the base and table top are available in all Walter Knoll veneers.
Tama Desk comes with a leather pad. The modest panels are also covered in leather.
Functionality
Tama Table Base consists of one drawer and one drawer. The pedestal drawer is designed as a movable body that houses the inner life.
An additional inner drawer is available as an optional extra. This interior also contains a hidden compartment. When opening the pedestal drawer, the base can be pushed under the body. A normal observer would not be able to notice this as there are no handles or anything like that. Another area designed for storing personal belongings opens. The front drawer of the pedestal is covered with mirrors and has different storage trays.
The pedestal drawer contains electricity. The drawer is equipped with four electrical connections (country-specific plug face). One meter connection cable included.
The pedestal drawer has two USB ports. There are three more electrical connections on the hidden rear of the pedestal.
The rack can be equipped with a USB power port.
The conduit under the shelf, table top and pedestal provides access to electrical connections. Two magnetic cable covers hide the cables on the panel legs.
An optional lightweight package for container drawers/drawers is available as well as a leather padding set as an accessory for both drawer types.
As an optional extra, the Tama Desk can be fitted with a keyless locking system.
