Linde Freya Tangelder’s Wax, Stone, Light builds on the original idea of sculptural blocks precariously positioned on top of each other in a seemingly unstable architectural column. Intrigued by liquid materials that change shape and become solid, the designer began experimenting with glass to explore its many facets, playing with transparency, tactile sensations and light to create not only an object but also an atmosphere.
