Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi designed Yuh for Louis Poulsen in 2017. Initially launched in black and white, the family was expanded with versions featuring brass and marble. One of the most important features of the lamp is that it is personalized. It can rotate, rise and fall, illuminating the desired space and creating ambience. The form of the shadow is geometrically determined by its movement on the body. It has a minimalist look, created from a circular shape at the bottom of the canopy to a linear opening at the top. The name Yuh is the phonetic form of the word “you” and the letters represent the sound the voice makes to say “you”.
