Vitra presents Vitra Summit, which will take place on October 22-23. This two-day Summit, which will take place online, will present new concepts for office space on a global platform, with talks and workshops featuring solutions and products to support successful navigation to the “New Normal”.
This year has radically changed our perception of space. We began to avoid places we shared with strangers or any environment that might expose us to chance encounters. Governments around the world have ordered us to stay in our homes. Companies were forced into mass experimentation with remote work. Our homes have suddenly become a place to work, spend time with family, learn, celebrate, grieve and more, all at the same time.
Vitra Summit 2020 is an interactive platform that invites industry experts, designers, architects and scientists to share their thoughts on solutions for the future of the home, office and public space on the axis of Vitra’s design expertise in common spaces.
What makes Summit interiors the future, what makes a workplace a “workplace”? How can we demand more from our homes? With his questions, he will discuss Vitra’s four main themes in 2020, “The Human and Office”, “Design Matters”, “Dynamic Spaces”, “Remote World”.
