Flos Almendra belongs to the spring 2022 collection and was designed by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola. The designed lighting is the result of an ambitious project that is impressively sustainable and modern in material and design. It is a lighting system consisting of modules with shapes and colors inspired by the almond trees from which it takes its name. The designer was inspired by the plants and trees growing in front of his house by the sea.
Lighting housings are made of recyclable extruded aluminum. The light shells are made of a durable synthetic material that falls from industrial production. Polycarbonate is made from 100% sustainable resources. In addition, Almendra’s surfaces are always water-based, single elements are interlocking and the product is free of screws and adhesives. Developed according to ISCC standards, Flos Almendra is fully recyclable at end-of-life and meets today’s demand for sustainability.
