Poul Henningsen has spent his entire life creating extraordinary glare-free light. Designed in 1958, PH Snowball features a series of 8 shades forming an elongated spherical silhouette, similar to Henningsen’s original Contrast lamp and PH Louvre. PH Snowball was first exhibited in 1958 at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art (now known as the Danish Design Museum) as part of an exhibition called Glass, Light and Color. Following this, PH Snowball was set aside and reintroduced in 1983. For the first time since its introduction in 1958, the PH Snowball is presented in a new finish. The white finish of the PH Snowball Anniversary Edition is combined with a subtle pale rose hue underneath and a polished brass frame, adding a touch of sophistication and warmth to today’s modern and classic interiors, regardless of where the icon is placed. Each PH Snowball Anniversary Edition has a unique identification number engraved on it and is limited to stocks only, as only 300 pendants with individually engraved numbers were produced.
