Description
Alessi’s Pulcina espresso machine combines Michele de Lucchi’s unique aesthetic style with high-quality Italian design. The focus was on optimizing the shape of the coffee pot to improve and enhance the organoleptic properties of the coffee.
Thanks to the internal shape of its boiler, Pulcina automatically stops filtering the coffee at the right moment. This interruption helps to eliminate the burst phase, the final filtration stage, which produces a burnt and bitter taste in the mouth. This ensures that only the best qualities of the coffee are preserved and enhances the full-bodied and rounded aroma of the coffee. The pacifier is quite prominent. The typical ‘V’ shape, reminiscent of a chick’s beak, is specially designed to perfectly cut the drops when pouring.
Practical and functional, making coffee with Pulcina is just like using a traditional coffee pot.
