As an illuminated bowl made of solid white gypsum, Zeleste evokes Barcelona’s nightlife with a story that takes us back to the early seventies. One year after Red May, Ángel Jove and Santiago Roqueta created the Zeleste lamp, named after the bar where it was designed. Inspired by Art Déco design, Zeleste shares the spirit of all the work of Snark, the design editorial company owned by Santiago Roqueta. In 1987, Santa Cole acquired Snark’s historic collection and launched the Snark collection, a new line with the same name. This collection includes this lamp and its sibling Babel.
