Lumina was founded in 1980, at the beginning of the decade’s glorious break in Italian design, inspired by the vision of Tommaso Cimini, a quality-controlled manufacturer of lighting products at the service of simple and technological lamps, whose key strength is in construction. When he founded the company in Sedriano (a small town in the Milan region), he already had a very clear principle in mind: function creates form. Since the year they were founded, they have remained true to their original purpose, embodied in every design produced with pride and an undiminished passion.
