Eve Table Lamp
From Eva’s experience comes Eve, a floor lamp designed by Foster + Partners, but more limited in size and with reduced light output. Eve is a lamp that gives indirect light: It is a stand-alone lamp that fulfills the need for indirect light that is easy to interact with. The idea was to create a slim but attractive cone of light, similar to that of a candle, attractive and at the same time useful, emerging from earlier design iterations of a dining table lamp for an architectural project.

From Eva’s experience comes Eve, a floor lamp designed by Foster + Partners, but more limited in size and with reduced light output. Eve is a lamp that gives indirect light: It is a stand-alone lamp that fulfills the need for indirect light that is easy to interact with. The idea was to create a slim but attractive cone of light, similar to that of a candle, attractive and at the same time useful, emerging from earlier design iterations of a dining table lamp for an architectural project.
Eve is an indirect light lamp: The high-performance 5W Led Cob performance at the base limits direct glare by concentrating its light through the PMMA lens onto the upper conical reflector. Eve’s body consists of a glass cylinder topped with a specially designed reflector that protects the internal optics from dust and scratches. The assembly of the cylinder and frames is done in-house by robotic gluing. Thanks to the touch dimmer mechanism, active at every point of the base ring, it is possible to adjust the light with a simple touch of the finger: The first turns the lamp on, the second minimizes its output and the third turns it off.
