Poul Henningsen
Poul Henningsen (1894 – 1967) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he studied engineering and began his career as an architect. When his interest soon shifted to lighting, the 20th. created some of the most iconic lamps of the century and are still sought after today. In 1924, Henningsen began a lifelong collaboration with Louis Poulsen.
