PH 5 Mini Pendant

Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 in 1958 in response to constant changes in the shape and size of incandescent bulbs by bulb manufacturers, and named it after the size of the main shade of the pendant, 50 cm in diameter. PH 5 continues to elevate even the most modern interiors, like the PH 5 Mini with a top shade diameter of 30 centimeters, introduced in 2017 in the spirit of Poul Henningsen. Louis Poulsen wants to appeal to contemporary and creative living and has therefore resized the famous necklace for the first time. In 2020, the PH 5 Mini Monochrome series was introduced to emphasize this striking design for a more contemporary look.

The luminaire provides 100% glare-free light. Its design is based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system that directs the majority of light downwards. The luminaire emits both down and side light and thus illuminates itself.
