1978 Incas Table
An evolution of the previous “Eros” system, the “Incas” series uses the same constructive intuition in another material. Originally conceived in Pietra Serena, the project is characterized by square-shaped tops and trapezoidal truncated pyramidal legs.
Incas only the two inclined planes bear the stresses due to the weight of the aircraft, while the vertical ones do not cooperate in the stability of the construction system. Incas is now also available in other stone materials and suitable surfaces and today for the first time finds an unprecedented and sophisticated solution in solid wood, showing how every great idea can be further developed without loss of strength and meaning.
Serena stone tables can also be used outdoors. Lengths of oak tables are also available on request. The maximum possible dimensions are 90 x 320 cm. Solid oak tables may have small knots, inhomogeneous grain or color variations between the boards; these characteristics should not be considered defects, but rather an indication of the quality of the material.
