Aërias surprises with its formal conciseness, lightness and innovative weaving: The familiar pattern of Viennese wickerwork is reinterpreted in a modified scale and leather material.

Just as the appearance of a font changes according to its size, the traditional weave used for Aërias is characterized by the multiple expansions of the pattern. The high seating comfort comes from the leather straps stretched over a wooden frame. Similar to leather stretched over a drum, the minimal surfaces flex and absorb body movements, making sitting and reclining particularly comfortable.

High-quality craftsmanship skills are required to apply the traditional weaving technique with leather straps in this format. The graphic look of the pattern is enhanced by the optional use of leather in two different colors. Aërias is an adaptable complement to various tables in private or public spaces. It can also be used as an attractive stand-alone piece, casting interesting shadows on its surroundings with its leather weave.
