Inspired by the geometric form of an arch, Archie is a chair with elegant, slender legs that extend upwards and a curved backrest that embraces a single, seamless line.
The visible joints between the planes of the building emphasize a meticulous refined process, while striking a fine balance between visual lightness, structural integrity and comfort.
“Archie makes a sculptural statement, with the back and armrests merging into one fluid form,” say George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg. With Archie, the studio carries forward MDF Italia’s legacy of technical innovation, creating an elegant and minimalist structure that blends the brand’s know-how with the studio’s creative spirit. Archie is designed to be completely dismountable and demountable.
