The Bibliothèque Nationale floor lamp is a true high-tech product. Philippe Starck’s design combines a floor lamp and a shelf into a single object and includes a base-level USB box for charging all standard smartphones. It brings a diffused and soft light into the room. The opaline-colored inner diffuser provides absolutely glare-free illumination, regardless of the color of the outer diffuser you choose.
The slim and robust structure of the Bibliothèque Nationale lamp is made of die-cast and chrome-plated zamak, while the diffuser and lamp support are made of opal-cast polycarbonate. The outer diffuser is crimped PVC woven or finished methacrylate.
