Designed by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker for HAY, the Chisel Lounge Chair is a modern yet timeless take on the ever-relevant molded plywood chair.
Named after the classic carpentry tool, Chisel was born from the desire to design a sturdy wooden chair with a distinctive silhouette that would stand the test of time. Developed with the finest craftsmanship and ergonomics in mind, the chair’s soft, organic seat and backrest provide good support in a visually inviting way, complemented by angled legs that echo chisel references with their characteristic beveled edges.
The Chisel Lounge Chair’s wide range of wood species, colors and upholstery options, combined with its compact size, make it ideal for use in most home and public spaces, from living rooms and bedrooms to waiting rooms, lobbies and libraries.
