Gebrüder Thonet Vienna renews its collaboration with India Mahdavi: For the second year in a row, the internationally renowned architect and designer’s unique style meets the Austrian brand’s iconic curved lines to give life to a new dining chair. To express the company’s ancestral know-how, India Mahdavi stayed true to this gesture and followed the line without lifting his pen. Acting like the structure of a loop, this continuous thread twists itself to form the articulation of the chair, leaving behind two twisted loops.

The seductive curls that characterize the loop push the boundaries of possibility – the Mahdavi of India demands that the twisted beech wood redouble its efforts to enhance its beauty and roundness.

The yellow wool upholstered seat on the new Loop dining chair harmoniously blends into the natural essence of the wood structure.
